Around this time last year I was working 2 jobs and had been for almost the length of that year. Eventually I had to quit one of those jobs due to being burnt out from 14 hour days and going weeks and sometimes months without a day off. Even after that I didn't take a break.
I decided to go back to school this January and just recently finished by first semester. I only went part-time and worked full-time and I found my time split between school and work was more draining than working 2 jobs. I received my progress report in the mail and I passed everything with flying colors. And now, it's time for a break. I've taken this whole week off to relax and recompose myself for summer classes.
During my break I've spent amazingly lazy, sunny days sleeping in, visiting family and friends. I also completed a big shoot at a historical inn that I've had planned for about a month and 1/2. I booked a small job for a senior photo and plan to meet with a model for a shoot booked at the end of the month.
Yes, my vacation has been going swimmingly....I hate to see it end, it is going by far too quickly. However, I have to pay bills, uhhhh.
